Links: Official Myspace Bio: Your attention please. Whitey is a sort-of solo project by N.J Whitey. He is a bit of a misanthrope that spends most of his time skulking in dark corners. He collects books, grudges and enemies. Nis new EP for Nitrus Records "Wrap It Up" is already making waves on alternative radio. Is it about revenge? He has to date recorded and released one album THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL IS A TRAIN (1234 Records). This made many critical 'Best Of Year' lists. You should listen to this, if you can find it. If you are in America then you can buy it from DimMak, or from Itunes. Whitey has just completed another album. WHITEY LIVE HISTORY: For the last 3 or 4 years, live shows have been with the following friends and associates- Wildcat (drums), Scott X. Fairbrother (guitar/bass) and Shah (guitar/keys). For the first year guitar was also Patrick Walden (Babyshambles)... however the bright lights/hot pipes enticed him away. The fifth secret member was/is Robert Harder, a mysterious Bavarian gentleman who operated the mixing desk at gigs. Over the past 3 years we played over 200 shows alongside (amongst others) Undertones, Buzzcocks, LCD soundsystem, New Order, Iggy Pop and Peaches. There have been sessions for XFM and Radio 1. Now Whitey is travelling and working on new material. SELECTED PRESS (please contact SOMEFRIENDLY PR for more details).........
